Week 1 and Week 2

The children were all really excited to come back after the Christmas break, we were so pleased to see their smiley faces. They had lots of fun settling back into the Nursery and were keen to see their friends. 

 

Week 3

We have had a lovely, busy week in Bush Babies and the children have all had lots of fun! Even though it has been very cold, the children have still enjoyed playing outside. Some of the children made a very creative obstacle course and we were careful walking along the planks of wood. 

 Week 4

We have had another fun week in Bush Babies this week and the children have been full of smiles. They have had lots of fun building dens outside and demonstrated excellent problem solving skills when they were given the challenge of putting the den together themselves. It was lovely to watch and observe their turn taking skills and working together as a team. We hope the weather is a bit kinder to us next week as it has been quite cold outside!

 Week 5

The week has flown by and all the children have had lots of fun. They have been enjoying playing in the mud kitchen and making each other 'dinners!' Some of the children set up a restaurant with a table and chairs to serve the food on. The children have also been making dens, playing outside and helping to make Angel delight for snack time. 

 Week 6

What another lovely, fun week we have had in Bush Babies! We took Bush Babies 1 into the hall at the beginning of the week and they enjoyed playing with the equipment. The children had fun making salt dough dinosaurs which they cut out really carefully. We had lots of smiles and laughs outside this week playing in the mud kitchen, setting up obstacle courses, making dens and playing on the bikes. We hope you enjoy looking at the photographs. 

 Week 7

This week we have been learning the songs for the 'Make a noise festival' and learning some makaton signs to go along with the songs. We have made the most of the bad weather and all got out in our puddle suits and had lots of fun splashing in the puddles! In phonics we have been learning about rhythm and rhyme and listening to the story of 'Llama Llama Red Pyjama'.
