Week 1 

What a busy first week we have had! World book day was on Thursday and the children all looked fabulous in their costumes dressed as a character from a book. We took the children from BB2 into the World book day assembly and they really enjoyed it, sat beautifully and liked seeing all the other children dressed up. 

 

 Week 2

We have had another lovely week in Bush Babies and the children have had lots of fun. They have been enjoying playing outside with the forest school equipment that we have borrowed from Tiger class. We have been continuing to practise the songs for the 'Make a noise festival'. We have a new swing outside and the children have been having fun playing on it, there were lots of smiles and giggles! They were very good at taking turns and sharing it.

Week 3

What a strange week with the weather, we have had lots of rain and then sun towards the end of the week. However, we have played outside lots and had lots of fun splashing in the puddles on the playground. Some of the children in KS2 enjoyed watching us!  In the classroom, we have been drawing, painting, singing and exploring. We hope you like the photos. 

 Week 4 

What a lovely, sunny week we have had! The children have been playing outside a lot and enjoying the activities. They were paddling in the water in the tuff tray to cool down and had fun exploring the shaving foam and paint. Lots of messy play this week! The children in the Bushbbabies 2 room joined Tiger class, a vet visited them as their topic is 'People that help us'. The vet brought a dog in and the children were very calm and loved meeting her. 

 Week 5

We have had another lovely week in Bushbabies! The children went on a walk looking for signs of Spring. We saw lots of different flowers and buds growing on the trees, some of the children spotted some bird nests in the trees. We were very lucky to join Tiger class as they had a Doctor visit them. She spoke about her job and we looked at x- rays of broken bones. It was lovely to see the bikes that the children brought in for 'Bling your bike'. 

 

 Week 6

What a busy last week of term we have had! Bush Babies 2 joined with Tiger class and met an optician, she talked about how to care for our eyes and we got to try some glasses on that they use to test our eyesight. All of Bush Babies got to meet the Firemen and were able to climb onto the Fire Engine which was lots of fun. We also got to hold the hose and watch the water spray out, it went a long way! 

We also had a very special visitor, the Easter Bunny who surprised us when we were in the classroom! Mrs Humphries very kindly made some yummy Easter nests with us. We also joined KS2 and listened to the wind roadshow, we all enjoyed dancing and singing along to some of our favourite songs.
