Term 6 photos

Week 1

What a lovely first week back we have had. The children enjoyed the Jubilee Celebrations, they had lots of fun joining in with the celebrations with the rest of the school. We have been reading lots of stories, singing songs and dancing in Bush Babies this week. 

 Week 2

What an extremely hot week it has been! We have enjoyed lots of water play and playing on the fort. Today we filled up the tuff tray with water and paddled in it to help cool us down and we had yummy ice cream for our snack. 

 Week 3

What another hot week it has been. We created some shadow drawings of dinosaurs which the children loved. This week was sports day, thank you so much to all the parents that were able to come and watch. We felt so proud of all the children, they all joined in and had lots of fun doing the races! A couple of the children found a rather large spider outside and were much braver than me (Mrs Smith!) as they observed it and got very close! They made a home for the spider and added sticks, twigs and leaves. 

 Week 4

We have had another lovely week in Bush Babies this week. One of the children brought in a birthday cake to share with the children, it was yummy, thank you so much! 

 Week 5

What a really hot end to the week! The children have all had another fun week in Bush Babies. We have been reading Handa's Surprise and acted out the story using the fruit which the children really enjoyed. The children have been doing lots of water play outside, they have been pouring, mixing and stirring!

 Week 6

What another hot week we have had! The children have enjoyed playing outside in the shade. The children who are moving up into Tiger class in September went into Tiger class with Mrs Smith and Mrs Humphries to explore the environment, they had so much fun!

 Week 7 - Farm visit

Thank you all for a lovely year. We all enjoyed the farm and had a wonderful time!
