In Year Admission Application
Welcome to our Admissions Page. Admissions applications to Holy Family School are managed by our Office Manager, Mrs Whittle. She can be contacted at the school on 01793 521933 or at admissions@holyfamily.swindon.sch.uk.
Parents would normally be making an in-year application if they have recently moved, have arrived from another country, or want to transfer their child to another school.
The Governing body is the admissions authority and has responsibility for admissions to this school.
An application should be made to the school by completing the in year admissions application form and returning it to the office by email to admissions@holyfamily.swindon.sch uk or to the school address alond with, if appropriate, any supporting evidence.
The Governors will consider in-year applications within 10 school days of receipt of an application. An application made is not prioritised by the date it is received it but is considered against the ranking criteria outlined in the school's admission policy.
The school will notify parents of the outcome of any application by phone within 10 days of receiving the application and write within 15 school days of receiving the application.

In Year Applications - Appeals
If an application for a place is unsuccessful, you will be given the opportunity to join a waiting list and you have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel.
Parents/carers have the right to appeal against the refusal by the Governors to admit their child and should put their appeal in writing to the Clerk to the Governors, clerk@holyfamily.swindon.sch.uk.
Holy Family School will endeavour to arrange for the appeal to be heard within 30 school days of receipt of the lodged appeal.
Parents should provide any evidence they wish to submit in support of their appeal by at least 6 school days before the date of the appeal hearing.
Reception In Take - September 2025
Reception pupils are normally admitted to school in the September following their 4th birthday. Prospective parents are most welcome to make an appointment to look around our school, look out for flyers and on our website for information about any open mornings/afternoons.
If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2024 they are due to start school in September 2025 and you will need to apply for a primary school place by noon on 15th January 2025.
